Okay, so I think miracles do happen. Passed up about 10 mins past the deadline with a crappy article, and I actually got selected. AYG, here I come!
Meanwhile, it's really nothing that big. But it feels so good to finally get out of being merely mediocre and be something. It feels great to finally be able to actually make my parents proud. I'm not hoping this happens to me alot, but it's been a long time I felt this pleased to be me. I've always had issues about insecurity, but I've been glowing ever since I read this e-mail. Haha. Which I should stop since there's an article already due on Monday.
Journalism's not in my future anymore, but this is fantastic to be in my portfolio. If i manage to get it all done successfully, that is.
Yesterday was a fantastic day. Had an A for an article I really didn't expect, classes were cancelled and short, games playing was great, contacts are all done, had zichar with the best friends at night for dinner, and I realised I didn't have breakfast or lunch that day! Which is like whoa! My mood was so good till I didn't even realise about my meals la.
Still in a celebratory mood while my work is all piling up, stagnent.
Ah thank you God.
This should be me.. Seven years from now:
Married.
Trying for kids but in no rush for one.
Quaint, clean house with a backyard for the dog.
Or dogs.
All probably adopted or rescued.
Working with some job to do with animals.
...duh.
